Without Remorse (Unabridged) - Tom Clancy

This book surprised me all the way through. At every plot twist I had anticipated a different action. I guess that makes good fiction.

For my taste, there was way too much cop drama and police procedural, I hate that crap. That's why I stopped watching TV. I wish there had been more political intrigue. Still, as police procedurals go, this was good and, as stated above, unexpected. Not unbelievable, unexpected. It's long and it ramps up slowly, but the action pays off in many memorable scenes. If you like the John Kelly/John Clark Clancy-character, this is the book you need to fill in the background.
